Biography
My name is Misty-Jade Carlson. I’m a level 10 gymnast and I train at the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics in Eugene, Oregon. I started my gymnastics career when I was 4 years old and began competing when I was 6. I successfully competed levels 4-7 at Metro Gymnastics Center in Tigard, Oregon. In 2008 I continued to level 8 and started training at Auburn Gymnastics Center in Auburn, Washington. My gymnastic highlights can be seen at my gymnastics and video pages.
I am in ninth grade, homeschooled, and will graduate in 2015. I live in Portland, but I travel to Eugene to attend gymnastics. My family includes my mom Pauline, brother Jesse, and sister Amber. I have two cats and a dog named Tessa.

My other activities include playing classical piano and competitive baton twirling. I’m a member of the Syndication Baton Club in Walnut Creek, California and coached by Sandi Rios. When I have free time I enjoy drawing, reading, and photography. In the future I would like to pursue a career in the medical field.
